Bi Choice

Choose one and lose one
Love both and choose none
He's tough but she's nice
She's sweet but he's spice

I'm stuck in this dichotomy
My choices are hypocrisy
To love his blatant honesty
Means hating her for modesty

My heart is so confused
How could I ever choose
Love her and love him too
Different reasons but it's true

He makes me forget
All the failures I've been with
The only family in his pack
And sometimes his midnight snack

He's my shiny armored knight
The sturdy sword I use to fight
But she's become my trusted shield
Causing enemies to yield

With her I feel admired
Her desire, I'm inspired
Cuddling warmth, comforting kisses
And a belly full of wishes

The dragon or the butterfly
With both I live, with none I die
But only one I can call mine
The other's love I must decline
